Commonly known as “the festival of Lights”, Diwali is a time of sharing joy, connection, or celebration! For many people, however, this festival and celebratory period also has an underlying challenge – whether it be health, emotional or mental wellbeing, feeling overwhelmed, etc. If you have a chronic illness, are worried about your child’s illness, or have an addiction, know that instead of the joy of celebration you are feeling sad. You are not alone! Peace, healing, and much more can be experienced using spiritual remedies, divine codes, meditating, or through an astrological consultation.
1. Divine Codes & Angel Numbers for Chronic Illness
When you are living with a chronic illness, Diwali night presents a very special opportunity to work on healing. Divine Healing Codes (as introduced by Grigori Grabovoi) and Angel Numbers (which are energetically powerful numbers) have vibrational energy that promotes healing. For example, here are some Healing Codes that people write or chant: 9187948181 (for physical healing) and 1888948 (for emotional strength). Some common Angel Numbers include 111 and 444 – both are linked to protection and healing energy.
On Diwali night, you can chant or write these numbers while lighting your diya. It is believed this will bring even more positive vibrations for healing, since you are chanting or writing these codes during Diwali, where the energy is already at a healing state!
2. Protecting Children’s Health with Diwali Remedies
When children frequently fall ill, it is natural and understandable for parents to care for their child’s health and well-being. It is also not unusual for parents to wonder if there is an enhanced benefit to their child’s immunity from a Diwali ritual for expelling some negative energy.
- In order to safely conduct a Diwali pooja you will only need to place a ghee diya (lamp) in your child’s room and simply dedicate the diya for your child.
- As additional support you could also simply tie an immaterial size of a tulsi (holy holy basil) leaf on the back of the child’s bed.
- To find another simple offering to bless and celebrate your child using terminology like “Om Namah Shivaya,” or “777” which represents angel numbers in angelic blessings.
None of the above actions substitute for any medical support, or safety plans, but provide emotional or spiritual comforts which may be useful.
3. Overcoming Depression & Sadness During Festivals
Many are likely to be feeling down, lonely or anxious right now, at the holiday season, even if other people appear to be in good spirits. On an astrological note, the planetary movement occurring at this period during Diwali provides a window for a personal catharsis, if, and when, we slow down and set the intention for the personal catharsis to take place.
You are, in some sense, declaring you have the energy associated with depression, and so you may find the following useful:
- Light a diya, facing north, or east, and allow positive energy to enter the space around you.
- Do your very best to wear bright colors (yellow, orange, red) so you activate the area of light, as well as help elevate your vibrations.
- Chant the words “Om Shanti Shanti Shanti”, while intending to feel peace in your mind.
Consider some meditation on the Diwali Amavasya (new moon), which may assist you emerge from some of your negative vibrations.
Bear in mind that depression is something real, and more often than not one requires a whole skill set that denotes a professional to assist you. That said, whatever you see or spiritually identify to be useful, will be somewhat helpful, in consideration of helpfulness.
4. Breaking Addictions During Diwali
Are you dealing with smoking, drinking, or some other addiction? You could use this Diwali as a springboard to change your life. We consider Diwali to be about light eliminating darkness. In a figurative sense, we can say it is also about willpower removing bad habits.
This Diwali activity is actually practical:
- On Diwali morning commit next to the lit diya that you are free from your addiction to the old habit.
- Say the Divine Livelihood Code 7184918417184 (to relieve addiction).
- Say the angel number 000 (it stands for new beginnings).
- Whenever you think of that habit you replace it with meditation or deep breaths.
The energy of the festival of Diwali may actually help to reset your life during your spiritual journey.
5. Meditation for Mental Clarity & Peace on Diwali Night
Meditation is always impactful; however, meditation at Diwali night can have a powerful vibrational effect. The energy of this night is amazing. The environment has so much light, prayers, and collective positivity. For me, it is the perfect time to deliver an even more potent meditation, which helps them release anything that is causing a mental block, decrease stress, and bring peace.
How to meditate on Diwali night:
- Sit in a quiet space with a diya or candle in front of you.
- Close your eyes and take several breaths and focus on your breath.
- If you are someone that chants or has a mantra, like “Om” or angel number “1111”, begin chanting to focus your breath and have clarity.
- Visualize the light filling your body and removing any black energy.
Devoting time for meditation for even the amount of 10-15 minutes can allow for a deep sense of calmness and start the new year in a positive way.
